Everything was top-notch. I ordered the 15 course Omakase. The chef was super attentive and the fish was amazing. The Toro handroll was the best handroll I ever had. The waiters explained everything to perfection and the place was super calm and neat. Would definitely come back!

Akimori in New York City is a true gem! This kosher omakase spot offers an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The toro and truffle were standout dishes that I absolutely loved. The service was top-notch, with our chef being super knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating details about the various fish imported from Japan. We ordered the omakase along with a few extra rolls, and everything was exquisite. The crispy rice, in particular, was amazing. The ambiance was perfect, making it a 10 out of 10 experience. I can't wait to return! Highly recommend Akimori for an unforgettable sushi night

Nice spot for sushi on the Upper East Side. Ate in their patio in the back which is spacious and well designed. Ordered the Sam Roll, the toro spicy tuna crispy rice, and cucumber salad, which was a great light summer dish

Wow. Omakase was incredible, best toro and king salmon I’ve had in ages. The fish was highest quality and each piece gets a little extra touch. I’ll be back.

Food was was delicious. Fish very fresh. Service was decent. Not much in the way of desert but omikase places aren’t known for that anyway. If you want really great sushi and sake on the UES, this is the place to go.

So this is the best kosher sushi in US so far for me. Fresh fish you would expect from flagships such as Nobu, omakase for $95 is a great price for nyc. Good options for sake , white wine list can be better , there are nice kosher rose options & gewurtztramminer that can be added. But you can easily bring your non kosher friends here and they will be happy. The restaurant caters to both kosher & non kosher people and that’s how you do well. Great job. Will be coming back soon.

This is probably the most amazing kosher sushi in manhattan. You would have no clue this place was kosher. They source their fish from Japan and it is of the highest quality, the rice was beyond incredible! Is a bit pricey but 100% worth the experience and incredible food!
